Dave East Talks "Paranoia" Album, Growth In the Music & Co-Signs

For the latest episode of Open Space, Harlem's own Dave East stopped by MASS APPEAL HQ to talk about his Def Jam debut "Paranoia: A True Story." His concerns are not just the usual celebrity complaints. "It's a spooky feeling," East reveals. "I've had two of my closest people to me get murdered in the last four years. It just be shit in my mind. But it be so much more positive shit going on that overshadows it, but that thought is still there, so I named it Paranoia." East feels his new project shows his artistic growth. Having chosen the latter route, Dave East refuses to be put in a box. And while he's happy to be working with the likes of Nas, Jeezy, Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, and Chris Brown, he feels a responsibility to represent for NYC rap fans.

Man Delivers Drugs To Woman In A Hospital Bed Leading To Her Death

As Ciara Hadrick rested in her hospital bed , Travis Siuta walked into her room and hand-delivered her a lethal dose of Fentanyl that ultimately led to her death. The dealer hand-delivers poison to her bedside five times, including in the middle of the night. Siuta is charged with drug delivery resulting in death, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a controlled substance.

21 Savage's "Bank Account" Goes Gold

21 Savage is celebrating the success of “Bank Account,” a standout single from "Issa Album", which has just been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. The good news came via 21 Savage's manager Kei, who took to his Instagram to celebrate the good news. It's worth nothing that this was the only track from Issa Album produced by 21 himself, which only makes the accomplishment even greater. That's not the first plaque for the Atlanta Reaper. He has previously nabbed platinum certification for "No Heart" and a gold one for "X" featuring Future. His joint mixtape with Metro Boomin, Savage Mode , has also reached gold.
