Man Gets Knocked Out, Then Hit By A Car

A man died early Saturday after lying on a Syracuse street and getting hit by a car, police said. The pedestrian, a 30-year-old man, was conscious when officers arrived, Sackett said. The man was rushed by American Medical Response to Upstate University in critical but stable condition, he said. Although the man was seriously injured, it initially appeared he was going to survive, Sackett said. But a few hours after the crash, the man died.
